From September 15 to 21, 2025, the Studio Pro Arte in Freiburg will be transformed into a vibrant center for contemporary dance art.

On September 17, six selected international choreographers will present their short pieces. A jury of international festival directors and curators will subsequently award prizes such as residencies, mentoring, and performance opportunities.

International choreographers and dancers offer intensives and workshops.

The residency projects will open the Frei Art Festival with a joint showing on September 15, 2025. As part of the Frei Art Festival 2025, Studio Pro Arte in Freiburg will award seven summer residencies to selected artists from Freiburg and the border triangle.
