Choreographers Summit

Update

We received over 150 applications from all over the world following the open call. The selection process was incredibly difficult and exhausting, as outstanding artists applied to participate in the choreography competition as part of the festival.

On September 17, six selected international choreographers will present their short pieces. A jury of international festival directors and curators will then award prizes such as residencies, mentoring, and performance opportunities.

Participating include renowned institutions from Malta, Spain, France, Bulgaria, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, and the Canary Islands – including the Dance Festival Malta, Tanzhaus Basel, Detours Festival Brussels, Masdanza Gran Canaria, Theater Dortmund, Derida Dance Center Sofia, and many more.
