Frei Art Festival 2025: Freiburg Dances – International, Interdisciplinary, and Open

From September 15 to 21, 2025, Studio Pro Arte in Freiburg will be transformed into a vibrant center for contemporary dance art. The Frei Art Festival brings together artists from all over the world with intensive workshops, powerful performances, creative residencies, an interdisciplinary dance contest, and an open community day. A week dedicated to movement, exchange, and artistic freedom.

Workshops with International Dance Greats
For a whole week, there will be workshops with choreographers and dancers who have worked with Ultima Vez, Sasha Waltz & Guests, Pina Bausch, RubberLegz, and Robozee, among others. The offerings range from experimental composition to urban styles and biographical works and are aimed at professional dancers as well as ambitious amateurs.
