When and where does the Frei Art Festival take place?
September 15–21, 2025
Locations: Studio Pro Arte, Am Rohrgraben 4a, Merzhausen, VfR Merzhausen und Alfred-Döblin-Platz, Freiburg
Who can participate?
Workshops are open to professionals and experienced amateurs. The Dance Battle welcomes both professionals and children. The Summit is aimed at choreographic professionals.
Please note: The Frei Art Festival assumes no liability for injuries or damages. Make sure to book workshops that fit your level.
Are there workshops and performances?
Yes! With international artists such as Victor Rottier and Aya Misaki (Edward Clug), performances by Petrikor Danse and others, as well as the Battle, Summit, and networking events.
How can I register?

Who organizes the festival?
The festival is organized by Studio Pro Arte Freiburg under the direction of Chantal Kohlmeyer, in cooperation with several partners.

Do you provide accommodation?
We do not provide accommodation ourselves. However, only a 3-minute walk away you’ll find Hotel Elements Pure.
Can I cancel my ticket?
No, tickets are non-refundable. Alternatively, you can find someone to take over your spot (valid for both workshops and performances).
