Young Voices for the Future — Performance & Time Capsule Installation

About the Project
At Haus 37, a shared artistic space emerged as part of Future Labs. Around 20 children, young people, and young adults (10–23 years) from the Monday Group and the holiday program developed a performance and a time capsule installation over several weeks.

Dance, theater, music, visual art, capoeira, creative writing, and other art forms came together in a joint work about the future, coexistence, and participation. The resulting works make visible the perspectives and ideas of young people.

Future Labs itself is an artistic project for children, young people, and young adults exploring social themes such as coexistence, democracy, and participation through art. Over the course of weekly Labs and holiday intensives, the project creates open spaces where participants can develop, share, and make visible their own perspectives — with a focus not only on the artistic work itself, but on exchange, encounter, and the experience of self-efficacy.

About the Performance & Installation
The result of these weeks of work is presented in two parts: a live performance bringing together the group's dance, theater, and movement work, and a time capsule installation — a physical archive of the ideas, hopes, and questions the group explored around how we want to live together in the future. Rather than a polished, pre-set production, both pieces are shaped entirely by the participants themselves: the discoveries, conversations, and creative risks that emerged from weeks of working side by side across disciplines.
