In this workshop, Christian shares his many years of experience: The focus is on musicality, precision, expression, and individuality—all central elements of urban dance forms. Participants can expect an intensive exploration of popping techniques as well as the philosophy and mentality of hip-hop. This focuses not only on movement, but also on posture, identity, and the artistic maturation process.
Christian "Robozee" Zacharas is a globally recognized artist in the field of dance and improvisation.
His dance career began in 1993 with social couple dancing before discovering the hip-hop culture and scene in 1998. To add depth to his expression, he began popping.
He has been a member of several crews – including the legendary "Battle Bunch" – and represents the hip-hop and popping scene throughout Germany.
Successes in renowned battles such as Juste Debout, Funkin Stylez, Man vs. Machine, and other competitions paved his way to the theater stage, where he has worked as a stage dancer since 2007.
These experiences had a lasting impact on his style and helped him develop his own, unmistakable dance language.
“Dance matures like a fine wine,” he says himself – and talks about styles, hip-hop mentality, freedom and his perspective on contemporary dance.
