About the Artists

Safet Mistele and Aurora Magrì are the founders of Radical Bodies, a contemporary dance collective based in Kassel. Together they lead a practice centered on experimentation, embodiment, and collective process — bringing dancers of different backgrounds and levels together to build new work through intensive, immersive collaboration.

With their debut Kassel production, Performance Project, Safet and Aurora brought together ten semi-professional and professional dancers from Kassel and the surrounding region for an intensive week of creation, developing a piece rooted in shared physical exploration rather than a fixed choreographic vocabulary. Their work marks a distinctly experimental, collective approach to contemporary dance-making — one that treats the studio itself as a space of discovery.

About the Masterclass

In this masterclass, Safet and Aurora invite participants into the working method behind Radical Bodies — an approach built on embodiment, experimentation, and group process rather than fixed steps. Expect exercises in physical exploration, improvisation, and collective composition, designed to open up new ways of moving and working together in the room.

Open to professional dancers and advanced students interested in contemporary practice and collaborative creation.
