About the Workshop

What happens when images and words meet? In this workshop, participants explore how visual art and voice can speak to and shape one another.

After a joint introduction, the group works hands-on with drawing, painting, and other visual techniques alongside spoken word, sound, and voice exercises — discovering how a picture can become a sound, or a sentence can become a shape. No prior experience is required; the focus is on curiosity, play, and personal expression.

The workshop is part of Future Labs, an artistic project for children, teens, and young adults (10–23 years) that explores social themes such as coexistence, democracy, and participation through art. Together, new perspectives, ideas, and forms of expression emerge, which are shared with one another afterward.
