WUW – Wind and Wall explores the turbulent time between childhood and adolescence. No longer a child and not yet a teenager – a formative and challenging phase of life.
With the changing metaphors of wind and wall, WUW explores the ambivalent space between proximity and distance, control and chaos, pressure and play.
A mobile wall simultaneously separates and connects two dancers—it becomes a physical expression of emotional tensions, boundaries, and the desire to break through them. The unpredictable, constantly changing wind reflects the inner ups and downs of growing up—emotional rollercoasters, transformation, and the gap between personal ideals and reality.
WUW is a visually striking and emotionally touching journey, full of surprises, adventures and quiet moments of vulnerability.

About the Artist
Founded in 2022 by Jin Lee and Jihun Choi, ZINADA is a South Korean performance collective rooted in the extreme sensitivity of the physical body. Immersive experiences emerge through the interweaving of repetition, ritual, sound, silence, movement, emotion, and everyday gestures.
ZINADA continuously explores the intersections between dance performance and other genres, seeking resonance with people of all ages. Her artistic practice repeatedly returns to places where unique movement languages develop through interpenetrating bodies – and performance can be experienced as a transformative experience.
Her first production, <HUABUN>, premiered successfully in Munich in 2023. The second production, <MUJE/무제>, had three sold-out performances at HochX Theater & Live Art in January 2025 and will tour to Ljubljana in September 2025. In 2024/25, ZINADA was part of Explore Dance and developed the pop-up performance WUW – Wind and Wall for audiences ages 10 and up, which is currently touring Germany.
