"My House Is Your House" — introduces the foundations and essence of House dance: groove, rhythm, musicality, and freestyle expression, including footwork, jacking, skating, and lofting, with a focus on connecting movement to music and to fellow dancers.

An evening of three distinct works exploring body, identity, and time. Aurora Magrì's No Man's Land reflects on division — between bodies, identities, and the ground we share. Olé Khamchanla's CERCLE is a choreographic solo at the crossroads of cultures. Noutnapha Soydala's 90/now offers a reflection on time, transformation, and the body through movement.

Eine Woche im September wird Freiburg zum Treffpunkt der internationalen Tanz- und Kunstszene: Das Frei Art Festival ist ein pulsierendes, interdisziplinäres Festival, das die Kraft der darstellenden Künste feiert und erlebbar macht.
Was 2020 begann, hat sich längst zu einem festen Bestandteil der lokalen und internationalen Festivallandschaft entwickelt. Mit außergewöhnlichen Performances, inspirierenden Workshops und Dozent*innen von Weltrang schafft das Festival einen Raum, in dem Begegnung, Austausch und künstlerisches Forschen im Mittelpunkt stehen – für Profis genauso wie für Tanzbegeisterte ohne Bühnenerfahrung.
Im Studio Pro Arte, einem Ort voller Bewegung, Kultur und Kreativität, verbindet das Festival Menschen aus aller Welt. Hier entsteht Neues: Choreografinnen und Nachwuchskünstlerinnen begegnen einem offenen Publikum, teilen ihre Visionen und arbeiten gemeinsam an aktuellen Themen.
Es wird diskutiert, getanzt, gedacht – mit Tiefe, mit Haltung und mit Freude.
Das Frei Art Festival steht für Vielfalt, kritische
Auseinandersetzung und den Glauben an die verbindende Kraft der Kunst. Es ist ein Ort, der inspiriert, herausfordert und verbindet – intensiv, lebendig und voller Ausdruck.
