Iron Skulls - 1Day - Theatrical breakin

This workshop teaches the technical evolution of the corporeal language of the collective. To do this we will study the fundamental aspects that support the collective's unique identity. We will work on the development of tools that assist in the breakdown or blurring of boundaries, something that the company is known for. The aim is to find a space of encounter between urban dance, contemporary dance, Butoh and martial arts. From here, we will facilitate the learning of key aspects of our practice: dissociation and coordination, ground work, acrobatics, interpretation and collaborating within a group dynamic through partnering exercises.
